The Walk to End Lupus Now® is the largest can’t-miss fundraising event of the year! With your help, we can continue our mission of improving the quality of life for all people affected by lupus. Join us and thousands of other walkers nationwide to raise funds for lupus research, increase awareness, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact.
Come together on Saturday, September 14th at The Flats at East Bank from 9 AM - 12 PM. Lace up your shoes and lead the fight to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus. Register now!

Why Walk?
By participating in the Walk to End Lupus Now®, you're helping to raise awareness about lupus and its impact. With your support, you're helping the Ohio Chapter:
- Remove barriers to care by offering a variety of assistance programs.
- Support special research initiatives, fund innovative studies, and advocate for increased public and private investment in lupus research.
- Turn research findings into practical programs, information and tools for people with lupus— Offer continuing education to health care professionals to ensure they have the most accurate knowledge and tools to diagnose lupus.
- Conduct outreach efforts to increase public understanding of lupus and encourage more people to join us in the fight to end lupus.

Take the first step to join the fight to end lupus in Ohio:
👟 Step 1: Register individually or become a Team Captain! Remember to show off your spirit with a creative team name.
👟 Step 2: Add personal touches. Your fundraising page is fully customizable! Feel free to add photos and stories that you feel embody your lupus journey or why you are walking.
👟 Step 3: Share your story and passion—Share your page with your social network asking for support! Encourage them to donate to your campaign and/or recruit them to join your team.

Fundraise and Earn Prizes
All funds raised will benefit our chapter's lupus research, education, and advocacy programs. The more you raise, the more you can earn! The prizes available for fundraising for the event will vary depending on the amount raised. NEW this year! You can also choose from our National incentive prizes from levels 1-7. Get the details! National incentive prizes **National incentive prizes are provided by the National office, the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., in Washington, DC. All awarded Items will not be available to redeem during the day of the walk and will be mailed to the current address on file given by the individual walker.

2024 WTELN® T-Shirt
Raise $100 as an individual walker and receive a 2024 WTELN® t-shirt! **Only one prize per registered individual walker
2024 WTELN® Sweatshirt
Raise $150 Raise as an individual walker and receive a 2024 WTELN® sweatshirt! **Only one prize per registered individual walker
Course Marker Sign
Raise $200 as an individual walker or team and receive a custom course marker sign and have it displayed at the event! **$200 must be raised 2 weeks before the day of the event, 8/31/2024, to secure this prize. **Please fill out the order form here.
2024 WTELN® Trailblazer Award
Raise $1,000 as an individual walker or team and receive a 2024 WTELN® Trailblazer medal, a certificate of achievement plaque, and a feature on all LFA, GOC socials!
Diamond Club (Team Prize)
Raise $2,500 as a team and receive a diamond club team captain t-shirt, a tent for your team at the event that includes seating, and a feature on all LFA, GOC socials! **$2,500 must be raised 3 weeks before the day of the event, 8/24/2024, to secure this prize. **Please fill out the order form here.
