The Lupus Foundation of America’s Walk to End Lupus Now® empowers thousands of walkers in nearly 60 cities across the nation to raise money in support of medical research devoted to curing lupus. There are an estimated 1.5 million Americans living with lupus, 60,000 of them in Ohio. The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter (LFA, GOC) invites local lupus warriors and their supporters to join the movement. Register now to create your personal fundraiser, and use the webpage to solicit donations. Contributions will further the impact of critical lupus research and support programs. Then, on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, join the virtual event with our nationwide lupus community and celebrate the combined strength and powerful impact of our walk warriors. Together. United. Powerful.
There Is No "I" in Lupus, But There Is an "US"
The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is the only national force devoted to solving the cruel mystery of lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which healthy tissue becomes a target. This immune reaction generally involves inflammation that, over time, can cause significant damage anywhere in the body. The LFA funds research to find a cure, and until then, your Greater Ohio Chapter will continue providing local support programs. With our vision of a world without lupus, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people suffering from its brutal impact.
